Responsibilities
- Jack of All Trades: Must perform a variety of game design tasks such as system design and balancing, from design documentation all the way down to working with QA to find, fix and test bugs
- Review business requirements working with other team members
- Produce solid, detailed design documentation
- Contribute game layout, implementation (camera, entity, etc.), scenario creation, event scripting, game balancing, pacing, and gameplay tuning
- Collaboration Minded: Work in conjunction with programmers and artists, to put all the elements together in action-packed gameplay experiences
- Maintain the gameplay vision and consistency
- Work with the QA and Customer Support teams to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing mobile games
- Experience working with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
- Proficient with iOS, Android SDK’s and tools
- Problem Solver: effective and creative problem solving abilities a must
- An in-depth grasp of game design and pacing; understands how to create encounters and other elements that contribute to engaging gameplay experiences.
- Driven, self-motivated and hardworking, willing to add elements into the game to bring it to life and help the player achieve a sense of immersion.
- Leverages Limitations: capable of working within technical constraints and generate outstanding gameplay experiences.
- More than loves games: can explain why certain gameplay elements were created the way they were and describe why their favorite levels are engaging at a game mechanics level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
- Previous, proven game development experience preferred.
- Links to or provided samples of game development experienced requested, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

- Produce a solid, detailed technical design
- Develop code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision
- Work with the QA and Customer Support teams to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround
- Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use
Requirements
- Extensive experience with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience creating cross-platform applications
- Highly proficient with iOS, Android SDK’s and tools
- Experience using Dreamweaver
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- 2+ years of mobile programming experience
- Has developed at least (3) complete iOS, Android or HTML5 mobile applications
- Applicants must live/work in the USA
Additional Skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Experience with PhoneGap a plus
